The Role
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Soho Farmhouse Ibiza. As a Bartender with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibilities are serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food (when needed) and providing excellent service to members, creating memorable experiences. Other duties include mixing cocktails, preparing the bar for service and ensuring it is in pristine condition.
- Create a welcoming environment for members and guests when they approach the bar.
- Fulfilling members’ drinks orders accurately and promptly.
- Enquiring about any allergy or dietary requirements, ensuring you follow our allergy procedure .
- Verifying the age of guests checking identification if necessary.
- Possess a strong understanding of the drinks menu in order to make recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests.
- Enquiring if the members are satisfied with food or drink and asking if they need anything else. Accommodating special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
- Perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
- Working alongside the barbacks to ensure the bar is stocked up.
- Maintain a spotless and pristine working environment.
- Providing members with the bill and processing payment via card or utilising the SHApp and House Pay.
