We are looking for a Sales Application Engineer to join our U.S. Industrial Systems team .

Although the position is based in Valencia, Spain , you will work exclusively with our U.S. business , collaborating daily with engineering and sales teams in the United States and supporting customers across North America.

This is a unique opportunity to develop an international career while remaining based in Spain, working on complex industrial projects in sectors such as Metals and Material Handling .

What you'll do

- Develop technical and commercial proposals for industrial drive and automation solutions supporting the U.S. market .
- Analyze customer RFQs and define the most suitable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based sales teams, customers, OEMs, suppliers and internal engineering teams throughout the proposal process.
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates and pricing support.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend the most competitive technical solution.
- Support the U.S. Sales team during customer meetings, technical presentations and commercial discussions.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends,



competitor activities and emerging technologies.
- Participate in technical seminars, industry events and customer visits.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites, including potential international travel to support business activities.

What we're looking for

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in Application Engineering, Systems Engineering or Technical Sales within industrial automation.
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, motion control or industrial automation systems.
- Experience preparing technical proposals and commercial quotations.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent English is essential , as you will work daily with colleagues and customers in the United States.
- Spanish proficiency.
- Availability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Metals, Steel, Material Handling, Mining, Cement, Paper or other heavy industries.
- Experience working with OEMs, EPC contractors or industrial end users.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI or Industrial Control Systems.
- Previous experience with CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting medium and large industrial projects.
