Role Overview

At Everllence Iberia, we support wind turbine repairs by responding quickly when turbines are down and urgent technical work is required.

Based in Spain, your primary work will take place at wind farms, where you will carry out hands‑on service, repair, and maintenance activities directly on the turbine. The tasks are often urgent and require flexibility, strong technical skills, and the ability to work safely in demanding environments, with frequent travel to site locations and short‑notice deployments.

You will work directly on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and carry out selected on‑site machining‑related activities when required. To perform the role, you will participate in wind‑related safety and technical training and must maintain the required certifications and medical fitness for working at height.

Key Responsibilities

Unscheduled Repairs (Emergency Response)

- Perform unscheduled repairs on wind turbines in response to breakdowns and urgent operational issues
- Carry out corrective work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including:
- Gearbox, yaw and pitch systems, generators
- Controllers, sensors, converters, inverter bars
- Replace defective components such as sensors, brake components, and small electrical or hydraulic parts
- Carry out on‑site machining‑related activities when required, using appropriate tools and equipment

Scheduled Maintenance & Repairs

- Perform scheduled service and inspection activities on wind turbines
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter changes, bolt torquing, cleaning, and mechanical tasks etc.
- Ensure work is completed according to technical instructions and quality standards

Safety, Reporting & Operational Support

- Work in full compliance with LOTO, GWO safety standards, and company HSE procedures
- Ensure safe climbing, correct use of PPE, and identification of hazards at site and turbine level
- Document work performed, findings, and component condition in service reports and digital maintenance systems




- Provide clear status updates to operational teams and assist senior technicians during complex jobs or projects

Working Conditions The role involves working at heights from 10 meters and above and performing physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces. Work is carried out in outdoor environments and may involve exposure to heat, cold, wind, snow, or offshore conditions depending on the site. The position operates on rotational shifts based on operational needs and includes regular travel, with approximately 150 travel days per year.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Vocational or technical training in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or industrial technology, or a similar technical background
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measurement equipment, including hydraulic tools and extractors
- Machining experience or exposure is an advantage (e.g. on-site machining support, controlled material removal, alignment-related tasks)
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and documentation
- Familiarity with digital maintenance and reporting systems
- Spanish and English, spoken and written
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, practical, problem-solving mindset, and safety-driven attitude
