We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced Genomics Laboratory Technician to support and lead key experimental activities within our R&D; and external scientific projects, with a strong emphasis on genomics and particularly cell-free RNA sequencing.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, autonomy in experimental execution, and the ability to contribute to process optimization and laboratory best practices.

What we are looking for

-

- A degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus), or equivalent experience.

- A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory.

- Extensive experience working with RNA, particularly low-input or challenging samples, and magnetic bead-based library preparation protocols.

- Demonstrated experience as a laboratory manager or in a role with responsibility for laboratory organisation.

- Strong attention to detail and high standards for experimental rigor and reproducibility.

- Excellent organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.





- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performance team.

- Professional working proficiency in English.

- Automated systems for liquid handling, and nucleic acid extraction and processing.

- Next-generation sequencing platforms and workflows.

- Liquid biopsy and/or molecular oncology.

- Method optimization and protocol development.

Your responsibilities:

-

- Implement the company’s proprietary cell-free RNA sequencing workflows to process and sequence clinical samples.

- Perform a range of molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, library preparation and qPCR, in projects with clients and external collaborators.

- Maintain quality standards to ensure the consistent generation of high quality data.

- Ensure efficient laboratory organization, proactively managing requirements such as inventory control, ordering, and equipment maintenance.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and SOPs.

- Maintain documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.

- Present results and project progress in internal meetings, and with clients and external collaborators.
