Your mission is to build one coherent global visual identity that still feels locally right — from a flagship in Mumbai to a mall store in Bangkok to a strip-mall location in the US. You'll own the standards, the rollout machinery, and the on-the-ground execution quality that ties them all together. Lenskart is a $1 B+ revenue, vertically integrated eyewear company 3,000+ stores across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan, and the US, 40 M+ customers, and a growing portfolio of brands (Lenskart, John Jacobs, Aqualens). As the store footprint keeps expanding into new markets, visual merchandising stops being a "nice to have" and becomes one of the clearest ways customers experience the brand at all. This role is based in Spain and owns visual merchandising strategy and execution across every Lenskart market globally. 1. Global Visual Standards & Brand Language Define and own the global VM guidelines window concepts, in-store zoning, fixture standards, signage, lighting, mannequin/display styling — that every store, in every market, builds from. Evolve the visual identity for Lenskart and portfolio brands (John Jacobs, Aqualens) so each has a distinct but recognizably related presence. Translate seasonal and category strategy (new collections, campaigns, launches) into visual concepts that work across formats flagship, mall, high street, and shop-in-shop. 2. Store Rollout & Execution at Scale Own the VM playbook for new store openings and store refreshes/rebuilds a non-trivial operation at Lenskart's pace of expansion. Build a scalable rollout model (regional VM leads, trained store teams, remote audit tools) so visual standards hold up across 3,000+ doors without requiring you to be everywhere at once. Set and track visual compliance and execution-quality metrics store by store, and build the feedback loop to fix gaps fast. 3. Cross-Market Localization Develop a "global framework, local expression" model what wins in Mumbai won't copy-paste to Bangkok, Dubai, Tokyo, or the US, and you get that intuitively. Build regional VM capability (local VM leads or trained store champions) so execution quality doesn't depend on constant HQ oversight. Balance global brand coherence with the cultural, spatial,

and retail-format realities of each market you operate in. 4. Commercial & Category Partnership Partner directly with Merchandising, Category, and Retail Operations teams to make sure visual strategy reflects what's actually meant to sell new launches, hero SKUs, margin‑priority categories. Use sell-through and conversion data to inform VM decisions which windows, layouts, and displays actually move product, not just look good. Translate marketing campaigns into in-store visual execution, so digital and in-store tell the same story. 5. Digital & AI-Enabled Visual Merchandising Explore and deploy tools that scale VM oversight without scaling headcount 1:1 with store count remote visual audits via photo/video, AI-assisted compliance checks against planogram/window standards, and virtual try‑on or in‑store digital displays where relevant. Own the visual merchandising input into any computer‑vision or product‑discovery initiatives happening in‑store. Build a lean, high‑leverage VM function the standard‑setter and quality engine for thousands of stores, not a team that scales headcount linearly with store count. 6. Team & Capability Building Build and lead a global VM team, plus a network of regional/local VM leads and store‑level champions across every market. Create training and certification pathways so store teams can execute to standard without needing constant hands‑on correction. Build the internal case for VM investment fixtures, refreshes, rollout budget backed by commercial impact, not just aesthetic argument. The Essentials Experience: 8+ years in visual merchandising, with at least 3–4 years in a senior/lead capacity at a multi‑market retail brand (fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or optical). Experience managing VM across a large, multi‑country store network is strongly preferred.

Scale Experience: You've built or run VM standards and rollout for hundreds of stores, not a handful of flagships you understand the difference between a beautiful concept and one that survives contact with 2,500 stores and local store teams. Multi‑Country Track Record: You've worked across at least 2–3 international markets and understand the balance between general brand consistency and local retail reality. Commercial Fluency: You think in conversion and sell‑through, not just aesthetics you can defend a VM decision with data as easily as with a mood board. Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Design, Visual Merchandising, Retail, Architecture, or a related field or equivalent exceptional experience. The Mindset Systems Thinker, Not Just Stylist: You care about the mannequin and the window but you care just as much about the playbook, the training, and the audit process that makes 2,500 stores look right without you personally touching each one. Global Fluency, Local Judgment: You know a concept that wins in one market can misfire in another, and you build for that reality rather than fighting it. Commercially Minded: You see VM as a growth lever, not a cost center every display earns its place by driving conversion or basket size, not just looking good in a photo. Builder, Not Maintainer: You're energised by building standards and capability from scratch, and by scaling what works rather than reinventing it store by store. Founder-Friendly: Comfortable moving fast, working with imperfect information, and partnering closely with commercial and category leadership. Why This Is One of the Most Exciting VM Roles in the World Right Now Eyewear as fashion is a genuine global white space, and Lenskart is one of the few companies with the store footprint, supply chain, and ambition to own it. Based in Thailand with a truly global mandate, you'd be the person who decides what Lenskart looks like to 40 M+ customers across five continents building the visual language for a brand mid-flight on a $1 B - $10 B journey, at a moment when the store network is still young enough to shape, not just maintain. #J-18808-Ljbffr
