VP Engineering / Director of Engineering

to help build the new Barcelona hub while providing executive-level leadership across a strategic, customer-facing technology platform used across Europe. The initial contract is for

9 months , with a

strong likelihood of converting into a permanent VP Engineering position .

The Role You'll be responsible for: Leading multiple engineering teams and engineering managers. Driving engineering excellence, delivery performance and organisational effectiveness. Partnering with Product, Architecture and executive stakeholders on technology strategy. Helping establish the Barcelona engineering hub, including culture, operating model and leadership practices.



Supporting the adoption of AI and automation to improve engineering productivity. Building strong relationships with teams across Europe, including regular travel to Prague during the initial months. About You VP Engineering, Director of Engineering or similar senior leadership experience. Proven track record leading large-scale software engineering organisations. Strong technical credibility and experience driving engineering transformation. Experience improving delivery, quality, scalability and team performance.
