Infotel is launching a new QA Competence Center in Barcelona that will become the Quality Assurance Headquarters for one of Europe's leading multi-insurance groups.

This strategic hub will bring together talented QA professionals working on large-scale digital platforms, helping shape testing standards, quality practices, and innovation across international teams. The Barcelona QA HQ will serve as a center of excellence, bringing together QA Engineers, Test Leads, and Quality Specialists collaborating closely with business and technology teams across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to join the project from the beginning and contribute to the growth of a high-performing international QA organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a

Senior QA Engineer

with strong experience in

Manual Testing ,

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

and

API Testing using Postman . You will work directly with

Business Analysts ,

QA Leads , and international development teams while contributing to the establishment of quality standards and best practices within the new

QA Competence Center in Barcelona .

Key Responsibilities: Execute

Manual Testing

and

End-to-End Testing

of web applications. Design and perform

User Acceptance Tests (UAT) . Validate

APIs using Postman . Create and maintain test cases using

Xray (Jira)

and





TestRail . Report, track and manage software defects. Collaborate with international teams to ensure software quality and delivery excellence. Contribute to QA processes, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

5+ years of QA experience ✅

Manual Testing ✅

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) ✅

API Testing ✅

Postman ✅

Xray (Jira) ✅

TestRail ✅

Web Applications Testing ✅

Defect Tracking & Test Documentation ✅

Fluent English (spoken and written) - Mandatory ✅ Experience working in

international and multicultural teams ✅ Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have: Test Automation ISTQB Certification Agile / Scrum SQL Experience in

financial services or insurance environments
