Experteer Overview As an Electrical Engineer in railway traction power, you will contribute to design development and risk mitigation for traction power systems and substations at all project stages. You will collaborate across disciplines, lead engineering tasks, and ensure safety and quality in line with AECOM standards. You’ll develop electrical studies, run TPS simulations, and produce technical documentation to support reliable, scalable systems. - Contribute to design development, risk mitigation and value engineering for traction power systems and substations
- Develop electrical studies and participate in TPS simulations for sizing and equipment selection
- Space-proofing TPS installations and cable routing design
- Produce technical reports, specifications,
and coordinate drawings/BoQ with BIM/CAD teams
- Ensure adherence to design practices and technical standards (CENELEC, ANSI, IEEE)
- Define interfaces and coordinate with relevant parties; participate in design meetings
- Integrate design processes within the System Engineering and System Assurance (SESA) framework
