Experteer Overview
As a Big Data Developer at Talan, you will design, build, and optimize data processing solutions to support client platforms. You will work within a data team in an Agile setting, driving data integration, quality, and performance across pipelines. You’ll leverage modern Big Data environments to deliver scalable data transformations and analytics, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders. This is a chance to contribute to impactful data solutions in a multinational consulting context.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data transformations
• Develop and maintain Apache Spark-based data pipelines
• Contribute to data integration initiatives across the platform
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data processing solutions
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement




• Follow DevOps and CI practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to reporting and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense

Responsabilidades
• 3+ years of professional experience in data development and programming
• Strong knowledge of SQL (ANSI SQL, Hive SQL, Spark SQL)
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and at least one language (Scala, Python, Java)
• Experience with at least one Big Data environment (Azure Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hive, Cloudera) or similar Spark-based environment
• Experience with Qlik Sense and reporting solutions
• Experience in Agile, CI, and DevOps environments
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Sonar, and Nexus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand requirements and collaborate effectively
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• English level: B2+ or higher
