In this role you lead the protection and control engineering for HV substations within the Transmission u0026amp; Distribution team. You combine hands-on technical design with engineering leadership, guiding secondary systems from concept through construction. You drive technical quality, coordinate multi-discipline delivery, and ensure safe, reliable substation operation. This role offers impact at scale on critical infrastructure and opportunities to shape engineering standards.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead and design protection and control systems for HV substations, covering protection schemes, control architectures, and substation automation
• Define protection philosophies, control interfaces, and communications in line with project needs and standards
• Review and deliver secondary engineering artifacts (schematics, interlocking diagrams, relay settings, coordination studies)
• Coordinate protection coordination studies and relay settings to ensure proper selectivity and fault clearance
• Ensure seamless integration of protection with SCADA, networks, and primary equipment
• Provide technical support during construction,



testing, and commissioning, including relay settings verification
• Lead and mentor protection and control engineering teams and oversee deliverables for quality and consistency
• Coordinate engineering activities across primary, civil, system studies, and commissioning teams
• Interface with clients, project managers, contractors, and vendors to align on technical delivery
• Contribute to development of procedures, standards, and best practices within the organization

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Typically 12-15+ years of experience in protection and control engineering for HV substations
• Proven track record delivering secondary systems across concept, design, and commissioning
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring within engineering teams
