Job Title: General Manager / Country Manager – Spain

You’ve built markets, not just managed them. You know how to turn early customer interest into revenue, create a brand presence from the ground up and make smart commercial decisions without waiting for a head office to tell you what to do next.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of Spain for a fast-growing British electric mobility business with an established product, proven success in other European markets and ambitious plans for its next stage of international growth.

You’ll effectively be running a startup within a startup: owning the market, building the team and turning Spain into a profitable, sustainable business.

Why this role

Spain is at the beginning of its journey. There’s a successful blueprint from the UK and other European markets, but nobody is going to hand you a rigid playbook.

Instead, you’ll have the freedom to decide what works locally. Where should the business establish its presence? Which partnerships matter? How should customers experience the brand? Which opportunities deserve investment – and which don’t?

With a year-one revenue ambition approaching €2m, this is a role with genuine commercial ownership and visibility.

What you’ll do

You’ll own the Spanish P&L; and lead the market from initial orders through to revenue, profitability and sustainable growth.

That means combining commercial leadership with hands-on execution. You’ll build partnerships, develop local brand awareness,



represent the business with press and senior stakeholders and create opportunities to put the product in front of the right customers.

You’ll also establish and lead a lean local team spanning sales, delivery and after-sales, while drawing on specialist marketing, sales and operational resources from the wider European business.

Having successfully established its model in several European markets, the company is now entering Spain with the infrastructure, experience and backing to succeed – while retaining the entrepreneurial mentality of a growth-stage business.

About you

You’re likely to have been a Country Manager, General Manager or senior commercial leader within a startup, scale-up or entrepreneurial consumer business.

Experience in D2C, premium consumer products, automotive, motorcycles, mobility or another high-ticket, considered-purchase category would translate particularly well. More important is your ability to build a market commercially: winning customers, developing partnerships, creating local relevance and taking accountability for the numbers.

You’re resourceful with money, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by making a market profitable rather than simply spending your way to growth.
