About the Role
At SOTEC Consulting – ASTEK Group, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a strategic project within the space sector.
We are seeking a professional with solid experience in embedded software development to participate in the development, integration, and validation of highly critical space systems, contributing to international programs using cutting-edge technologies in the space sector.
High level of English required (international project)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++.
Design, implement, and optimize new software functionalities.
Integrate software components into Linux platforms.
Participate in software verification and validation activities.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.




Automate testing and validation processes using specialized tools.
Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in complex environments.
Prepare technical documentation and support integration activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Systems Engineering, Hardware, Integration, Validation, and Operations.
Mandatory Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
Citizenship of a European Union member state.
Holding, or having previously held, a Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
Strong programming experience in C and C++.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Knowledge of operating systems, software architecture, and low-level programming.
Experience in test automation and validation using Robot Framework and Selenium.
Experience in software integration, testing, and validation.
Nice to Have:
Experience in space sector projects.
Experience in defence, aerospace, or other critical systems environments.
