What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in data migrations, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and AWS, capable of delivering secure, high-quality, and fully reconciled data solutions. Experience with large-scale customer and financial data migrations is essential.
Location: 100% Remote only in Spain
Required experience and skills
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines and AWS for large-scale data migration projects.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise migrations involving customer, financial and transactional data.
- Hands-on experience with data quality, reconciliation, validation controls and migration auditability.




- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing and modern data engineering best practices.
- Understanding of security, privacy, retention and access-control requirements for sensitive data.
- Strong communication skills, English proficiency, and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, validation, loading and reconciliation.
- Define source-to-target mappings and ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across migration processes.
- Develop reconciliation frameworks and controls for customer, operational and financial data.
- Support migration rehearsals, cutovers, defect resolution, performance tuning and restartable processing.
- Implement secure data handling practices, monitoring, logging and operational support procedures.
