About the Role

A fast-growing space technology company is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to take ownership of the technical definition and execution of a next-generation satellite platform. This is a strategic, hands-on position responsible for system architecture, requirements management, interface definition, verification planning and cross-functional technical leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating mission objectives into robust, testable system designs.

To Be Successful, You'll Need

- More than 7 years of experience in space systems engineering, including participation in flight projects and hands-on integration and verification activities.
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into implementable designs, lead technical reviews and support troubleshooting activities across engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, requirements engineering, interface management, verification and validation, and technical risk management.
- Must have led technical definition and execution of a satellite platform from the ground up
