Experteer Overview As an Android Engineer in the Mobile Apps Team, you’ll build and evolve the Android app for a leading pet e-commerce platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features for millions of customers. You’ll participate in architecture discussions, contribute to the full SDLC, and work with modern Android tech to ensure high-quality, scalable experiences. The role blends hands-on development with a DevOps mindset and a strong focus on user-centric performance. - 6+ years of Android development experience
- Kotlin (preferred) with Coroutines and Flow




- Jetpack components (Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, DataStore)
- MVVM / Clean Architecture / Modularization
- Deep experience with Jetpack Compose for scalable UI
- Dependency injection (Hilt / Dagger)
- REST API integration (Retrofit, Ktor)
- Performance optimization, profiling, memory, battery, network
- Debugging, monitoring, observability tools (Crashlytics, Firebase, Logcat, Performance Monitoring)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins)
- Unit/UI testing and TDD (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso)
- Independently design, investigate and implement features
- Product mindset focused on UX and customer needs
- Ownership mindset for code quality and maintainability
- Experience in Agile/Scrum
- Ability to mentor junior developers and clarify requirements
