Their proprietary network allows their clients (Uber, Airbnb, Mastercard, Adidas, Western Union among others) to make payments in real-time in over 130 countries and more than 80 currencies.You will join the European Engineering team, in their Barcelona office, located near the Sagrada Familia.About the RoleOur client's technology runs 24/7 across the globe, which means reliability, security, and massive scalability are core to everything the Engineering team builds.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain highly available services, mostly exposed through APIsTake part in the design, implementation, and production release of new products for internal and external stakeholdersDeliver high-quality code: testable, secure, readable, scalable, and well documentedUnderstand, apply, and champion Agile practices (code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, daily stand-ups, etc.)Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and initiativesEnsure platform scalability and performance, ship new features, and continuously improve development processesWhat We're Looking ForA highly autonomous, motivated, and curious profile with a genuine appetite for learningSomeone who fully "owns" their code: writing, testing, and deploying it, potentially several times a dayComfortable working on technology used 24/7 worldwide,
