This role blends deep technical expertise with a strong product vision, ensuring market, technology, and regulatory requirements are transformed into commercially successful and technically robust solutions.Your ResponsibilitiesOwnership of product strategy, roadmap, and complete lifecycle for IoT devices in the rail domain incl. creation and maintenance of product requirement documentsCoordination of new device developments and re-designs together with the lead engineer and system integration engineerEnd-to-end thinking across device and IoT platform: identify domain-specific requirements and translate them into both product streamsTranslation of market, customer, and domain requirements into technical requirements and featuresPrioritization of functions and development tasks in alignment with device engineering and managementDirect interaction with customers, technical consultants and sales to understand rail market needs and feed them into product development (IoT devices and IoT platform)Technical evaluation of concepts, variants, and supplier solutionsAccompanying certification and testing activities from a product perspective (e.g., rail compliance, ATEX, EMC)Monitoring of product performance, field feedback, and quality KPIsInitiation and steering of product improvements and redesigns based on data and feedbackWhat You BringMust-Have:Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering,
