As aCloud Architectfor T Cloud Public, you will shape the next generation of our public cloud by enhancing and evolving the physical and virtual networking layers of our OpenStack-based platform.
Designing, operating, and further developing OpenStack-based network services on theT Cloud Publicplatform in close collaboration with vendors and internal experts.
Enhancing the platform's network architecture with strong focus on IT security and robustness.
Working closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies.
Acting as a senior architect within an agile squad - supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work.




Improve and modernize cloud platform architecture with IT security top of mind.
Be a trusted advisor in OpenStack-based public cloud technologies.
Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject - or equivalent professional training.
~3-5years of professional experience in IT with strong exposure to modern cloud technologies.
~ Deep knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
~ Ansible, Terraform).
~ In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and network related services
~ Knowledge of agile development methods and experience working in agile teams.
~ OpenStack knowledge and open-source programming experience are strong pluses.
~ Fluency in written and spoken English.
