The SAP Development Manager – Sales & Distribution is responsible for leading the Barcelona‑based SAP SD development team supporting Werfen’s commercial, customer service, logistics, and order‑to‑cash business processes. This role combines people leadership, SAP functional expertise, and technical solution governance. The manager will oversee day‑to‑day team operations, delivery execution, resource planning, technical direction, and capability development while supporting Werfen’s long‑term SAP modernization and Clean Core journey. The successful candidate must be both functionally strong in SAP SD processes and technically credible in SAP development and architecture. The role requires the ability to guide solution design decisions,



challenge unnecessary customisations, and promote scalable, upgrade‑friendly SAP solutions aligned with SAP standard capabilities. This is a true management role with accountability for team performance, prioritisation, execution discipline, employee development, and operational effectiveness. The idóneo candidate has experience working in structured SAP environments with strong governance and standardisation practices and has participated in initiatives focused on reducing customisation complexity and modernising SAP solutions.
