Summary

The Distribution Platform Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and accelerating the medium- to long-term growth strategy of Amadeus new Distribution Platform. Positioned at the intersection of strategy, product, and business model innovation, this role partners closely with senior stakeholders and has direct exposure to key decision-makers across Travel Distribution.

The role drives strategic analyses and business model definition for Amadeus new Distribution Platform initiatives. It is responsible for identifying strategic opportunities and risks, challenging assumptions, and translating complex initiatives into clear, actionable recommendations that influence executive decision-making.

Working in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment, the Distribution Platform Manager influences cross-functional decisions and partners with Product Management, Strategy, Commercial Finance, Engineering, and Commercial teams to shape the future of Travel Distribution.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Analysis




- Define and deliver high-impact strategic studies on the most critical and complex topics shaping the future of Travel Distribution.
- Shape and frame the key strategic questions for Travel Distribution leadership — including business model evolution, ecosystem dynamics, and platform economics.
- Enable evidence-based decisions, including prioritization of initiatives, investment sequencing, and identification of “no-regret” moves versus optional bets.
- Represent Product Marketing in internal strategy forums and executive checkpoints, ensuring alignment and consistency of narrative.
2. Distribution Platform Business Model
- Own the definition, evolution and recommendation of the new Distribution Platform business model, influencing strategic decisions across Travel Distribution.
