About the Role
We are looking for passionate gamers who are fluent, educated native speakers of their language to test localized versions of video games.
What You’ll Do
- Play assigned video games in your native language.
- Identify problematic text, including:
- Awkward or unnatural phrasing
- Incorrect grammar or spelling
- Mistranslations or contextual issues
- Tone or cultural issues that break immersion
- Log issues using provided QA tools or spreadsheets.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of why something is wrong or confusing.
- Meet project deadlines and follow testing guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Native-level fluency in the target language
- Fluency in English
- Eye for detail
- Strong reading comprehension and writing skills
- Gamer familiar with game genres and mechanics
Nice to Have
- Translation-related studies
- Previous QA, game testing, or beta testing experience
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, spreadsheets, test platforms)
- Experience playing story-heavy or text-heavy games (RPGs or adventure games)
