The Role
The Country Medical Director, Spain & Portugal provides strategic, scientific and organizational leadership for Medical Affairs across Spain and Portugal.
Reporting to the VP, Head of Medical Affairs Europe, this individual serves as the senior Medical Affairs leader for both markets, leads the local Medical Affairs organization, and is a key member of the Country Leadership Team.
The role is accountable for planning and executing the affiliate Medical Affairs strategy in alignment with European and General priorities and the clinical development plan. A key focus will be preparing for and executing successful launches across Genmab’s oncology portfolio, ensuring scientific readiness, organizational preparedness and effective post-launch implementation.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, close cross-functional partnership, oversight of Medical Affairs priorities, budget, people and performance, and senior external scientific engagement.
