In this role you will lead the organization’s most significant cybersecurity incidents, guiding cross-functional teams from declaration to resolution. You’ll drive structured response, containment, and recovery while communicating clearly with executives and stakeholders. You’ll perform root cause analyses to unlock long-term security improvements and oversee corrective actions. This position sits at the intersection of security operations and business impact, within RingCentral’s AI-powered communications platform.

• Lead major security incidents with clear authority and a structured response environment from declaration to resolution
• Identify, scope, and assess technical impact and attacker behavior during incidents
• Contain threats, eradicate root causes, and safely restore affected production services
• Facilitate transparent reporting to executives, governance,
and cross-functional partners
• Facilitate meaningful root cause analyses and drive long-term security improvements
• Ensure corrective actions are completed and verified, not just documented
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, severity models, and tabletop exercises
• Coordinate on-call or major-incident escalation arrangements
• Respond to incidents involving customer or personal data
Responsabilidades
• Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, incident response, security operations, digital forensics, or related fields
• Experience leading complex incidents with multiple technical and business teams
• Experience coordinating containment, eradication, recovery, and impact assessment
• Experience communicating security incidents to senior leadership
• Experience leading or facilitating root cause analyses
• Experience tracking corrective actions through completion
