What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior IT Service Owner – Java & PL/SQL Applications with a strong background in the banking industry . This role requires a highly autonomous professional who can take ownership, proactively solve complex challenges, and operate independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
You will join a strategic project with a integral client in the wealth management sector , taking on a combined role as IT Service Owner and senior technical contributor, ensuring the end-to-end operation, evolution, and reliability of the IT service.
Location: Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.
Language : English is a must.



Spanish desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Proven experience with Java or .NET environments , including Spring Boot .
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (DB19 preferred) .
Hands-on experience with system integrations, interface management, and scripting .
Solid background in Kafka and/or IBM MQ (mandatory).
Deep understanding of REST APIs , JSON, and XML.
Experience across the application lifecycle , including CI/CD pipelines .
Knowledge of deployment and orchestration tools, particularly Octopus Deploy (Jenkins is a plus).
Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab .
English Level required: C1
Nice to Have
Knowledge of SWIFT messaging .
Understanding of investment products and financial instruments .
Experience within financial markets or capital markets environments .
Work schedule
Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
