In this role you design and implement the server-side foundation to transform Castle Busters from client-driven to server-validated multiplayer. You join a focused internal studio working on a high-potential prototype, leveraging Voodoo’s shared backend to scale a competitive PvP experience. You partner with client engineers and game designers to evolve APIs, player-state management, and server authority. You will shape the architecture, impact game economics, and drive the transition toward a trusted, centralized game state. This is a pivotal position with a strong focus on scalable backend systems and game-scale challenges.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Build server-side validation for metagame components (currency, upgrades, chests, progression)
• Move toward server authority for competitive features and centralized game state




• Design APIs and player-state management for Unity client integration
• Develop cross-functional infrastructure, API design, and server-to-client split of responsibilities
• Collaborate with client engineers and game designers from design to delivery
• Contribute to leveraging and evolving the shared gaming backend platform

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of backend development experience
• Fluency in Golang (minimum 1 year professional) xqbhyrx
• Mastery of SQL and NoSQL
• Background in high-scale systems
• Unix-like environment experience
• Experience in cross-functional agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Deep interest in game development (plus)
