- You’ll be directly oversee execution of routine processes in sowing, planting, harvesting and disease testing that shape the future of vegetable breeding.
- Collaborate with Breeding, Agronomies, and Phytopathology Teams to ensure breeding program success.

and market relevance. By combining hands‑on crop care with precise data collection, you help drive innovation and support Enza Zaden’s mission to feed the world sustainably. Next to that, you'll be responsible for:
- Provide timely and accurate support in all steps of the breeding process to make the right (selection) decisions.
- Secure implementation and oversee execution of routine processes, i.e. sowing, planting, pollinating harvesting, and disease testing.
- Ensure proper execution of crossing programs, functionally leading Crop Workers, and monitoring process whilst ensuring that the instructions of the (Assistant) Breeder are followed.
- Make independent observation, taking routine phenotypic data from Breeding material and first screenings.
- Assist with the selection of crops based on clear instructions and in alignment with the (Senior) Breeder.
- Recording and processing of observations on plan
