As our Senior Sales Manager (Defence), your mission is to actively win new business across the European defence and security ecosystem. This is a proactive, growth-driven role tailored for a professional with a deeply established network who excels at market penetration. Someone who knows how to open doors, shape market demand,



build a highly qualified pipeline, and convert complex opportunities into signed contracts.

Main Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, approach and engage defence prospects; create meetings with decision makers and influencers.
- Qualify opportunities (need, budget, authority, timing) and maintain an accurate pipeline in the CRM.
- Develop winning account/capture plans, including stakeholder mapping and competitive positioning.
- Lead bids and commercial proposals end-to-end (scope, pricing, terms), coordinating technical experts as needed.
- Negotiate and close contracts; ensure handover to delivery teams with clear expectations and governance.
- Represent DEKRA at defence events and forums to build visibility and generate leads.

What do we expect from you?
- 10+ years in B2B sales, with a strong track record in hunting / new business in defence, aerospace, security or government-related
