You will join the AI & Data team to build and deploy artificial intelligence solutions across different areas of Tuio.
You will work closely with business teams and collaborate with colleagues from AI, Data, and Engineering, as well as with our AI Managers whenever the project requires it. You will be involved from the very beginning in understanding the problem and will take technical ownership of the solution.
We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer with a strong software foundation and a builder mindset, capable of combining models, context, data, tools, and code to:
Design, build, evaluate, deploy, monitor, and improve.
As a general guideline,
the role will be approximately 20% discovery and operational work and 80% AI Engineering.
What will your day-to-day work at Tuio look like?

- You will work directly with business teams to understand the processes, decisions, systems, data, exceptions, and risks involved in each use case.
- You will design the architecture of agent-based systems, selecting the most appropriate models, patterns, and components for each problem.
- You will build applications powered by language models using context engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, RAG, and multi-step workflows.
- You will experiment with models, instructions, and architectures to optimize the balance between quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
- You will connect agents to internal and external tools through APIs, MCP servers, databases, and SaaS platforms.
