Job Description:A vacancy has arisen for an Airborne Electronic Hardware Designer, inside the A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs domain, withing Airbus Defence and Space Air Power Engineering in Getafe.The successful applicant will join the A/C & Mission System Integration Rigs domain, belonging to the Flight and Integration TestCentre of Competence. The domain is composed of around 100 employees located in Getafe, Manching and Bremen.We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with a passion for advanced digital systems and aerospace technologies. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, in charge of the full life-cycle of the Design and Build of Airborne Electronic products and solutions.The main activities of an Airborne Electronic Hardware Designer are:Design and develop complex airborne electronic hardware solutionsDefine hardware requirements and ensure system level requirements allocationPerform component selection considering reliability, obsolescence, thermal, and environmental constraintsSupport hardware validation, integration,



qualification and environmental testing campaignsCollaborate closely with firmware developers, systems designers and certification responsible authoritiesManagement of supplier work packages for the design, manufacturing and validation activities during prototype and production phasesParticipate in technical reviews, with internal customer teams (Design Offices, Chief Engineering and Program Offices) or external Certification/Qualification authorities (INTA, EASA)Prepare technical documentation aligned with aerospace development and certification processesEnsure compliance with aerospace and airborne standards DO-254 and DO-160Associated competencies to main activities are:Digital Electronic Hardware Detailed Design: The demonstrated ability to master the design and/or perform analysis of digital electronic circuits including, logic circuits in FGPA, PLD requirements capture, timing analysis, corne
