About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused AV Service Technician to join one of our customers, and support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of professional Audio Visual systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AV technician who enjoys working hands-on, solving technical problems, and delivering a high standard of service to customers across a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and repair professional AV equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues both remotely and on customer sites.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and regular system health checks.
- Respond to service calls and ensure faults are resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Work with a range of AV technologies, including displays, projectors, video conferencing, control systems, audio equipment, DSPs, and signal distribution.
- Configure and test AV systems to ensure they meet required performance standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and end users.
- Complete service reports, documentation, and maintenance records accurately.
- Liaise with project engineers, installation teams, project managers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally,



and in line with company procedures.
- Keep up to date with new AV technologies and manufacturer products.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Previous experience in a professional AV service or technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of AV hardware, signal flow, cabling, and system configuration.
- Experience with video conferencing, audio systems, control systems, displays, and/or DSP is highly desirable.
- A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a wider technical team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise service requests.
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Relevant AV qualifications or manufacturer certifications would be advantageous.
