For one of their clients, Hays is recruiting a Junior R&D; Chemist.

The position is in based Walloon Brabant.

As a Junior R&D; Chemist, you will play an active role in developing and optimizing formulations, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet evolving market and sustainability requirements

Your Responsibilities

- Develop and formulate new products for specialized industrial applications.
- Improve and adapt existing formulations to meet performance and environmental requirements.
- Conduct laboratory testing, analyze results, and recommend product improvements.
- Maintain and enhance product quality and performance.
- Define and manage specifications for raw materials and finished products, ensuring full product traceability.




- Provide technical support for development projects and customer requests.
- Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and translate their needs into innovative solutions.

Your Profile

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Strong interest in formulation, product development, and applied chemistry.
- Curious, creative, and eager to learn.
- Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
- Organized, rigorous, and proactive.

Languages

- French and English.
