Are you ready to lead seamless, high-stakes service transitions for a critical European aviation organization? As a Transition Manager, you will be the driving force behind the transition-in phase. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee the controlled takeover of complex services, ensuring absolute operational continuity, strict compliance, and zero disruption to mission-critical environments.

This is you

- Proven experience managing service transitions (transition-in) in complex, regulated, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong transition and project planning skills, including milestone planning, RAID/risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience taking over incumbent staff and resources, including HR and knowledge-transfer considerations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple parties (outgoing contractor, client, new team) simultaneously.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project/transition management certification is an advantage.




- Availability to be dedicated full-time to the transition phase.

This is your role

- Plan and Execute: Own and execute a structured transition plan, defining phases, milestones, roles, and responsibilities while guaranteeing timelines, quality, and operational stability.
- Ensure Continuity: Safeguard ongoing operations to ensure zero disruption to services during the entire transition period.
- Risk and Compliance: Apply rigorous security, compliance, and risk-mitigation measures throughout all transition activities.
- Governance and Coordination: Establish effective governance arrangements with, including steering meetings, status reporting, and RAID log management.
- Resource Takeover: Manage the assessment, onboarding, and knowledge-transfer methodology for incumbent resources where requested.
- HR and Legal Alignment: Address HR, legal, and compliance aspects associated with incumbent resource takeovers in close coordination with internal legal and HR functions.
- Handover Management: Coordinate closely with outgoing contractors to facilitate a smooth, professional, and collaborative handover.
- Dedicated Focus: Remain fully available and dedicated to the transition phase for its entire duration.
