We're currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. You'll work on instrumentation, monitoring, metrics, logging, and data pipelines that enable engineering teams and business stakeholders to make better decisions based on reliable operational data.

Design and implement observability solutions using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
Build dashboards and monitoring solutions that provide actionable insights for engineering and business teams.
Analyze logs, traces and metrics to improve system reliability and performance.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for observability and operational data when required.
Work closely with software engineers to improve application instrumentation across Python, Java and TypeScript services.
Help evolve our cloud monitoring capabilities on AWS.




Promote observability best practices across projects.

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Platform Engineer, Observability Engineer or similar role.
~ Hands-on experience with Datadog , including APM, Custom Metrics, Dashboards and Distributed Tracing.
~ Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Datadog SDK.
~ Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
~ Experience with Python.
~ Familiarity with Java and/or TypeScript is a plus.
~ Strong SQL skills.
~ Experience working with Git and Linux environments.
~ Experience building ETL pipelines.
Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
Experience working with CloudWatch and integrating AWS monitoring with Datadog.
