The Role

As a Lead Technician within our Service department, based in Palma de Mallorca, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining Oyster yachts up to 30m. Working across a wide range of mechanical, propulsion, steering, and plumbing systems, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and refit activities to the exceptional standards expected of Oyster Yachts.




This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong marine engineering knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach. You will work closely with owners, captains, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Job Responsibilities

Deliver service and repair projects safely, efficiently, and to agreed deadlines
Service and repair marine steering systems including rudder removal, rudder bearing replacement, and steering system servicing
Carry out propulsion system works including removal of propeller shafts, servicing propellers, replacing cutlass bearings, shaft seals, thrust bearings, and versátil bearings
Complete mechanical refit works including engine room refits, engine replacements, and marine engine servicing
Service and replace seacocks, pumps, and other onboard plumbing systems
Produce accurate technical reports and maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeho
