C++ Computer Science University Professor (Ph.D. required)
Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional who is passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduate students, with the opportunity to contribute to research and curriculum development in a growing academic environment. The candidate will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to fostering excellence in education.

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

Start Date: November-December 2025

Location: Bilbao, on-site classes at DigiPen campus

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person instruction in undergraduate courses aligned with your expertise.

Engage in independent or collaborative research in areas such as AI, graphics, computer vision, software engineering, education technology, applied mathematics/physics. Teaching loads may be reduced for those actively pursuing research.

Support and guide undergraduate students in coursework, projects, and professional development.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and align it with industry trends and academic standards.





Must-have Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field.

Proven ability to teach effectively in English.

Expertise in at least one of the following areas:

Computer Graphics, simulation software, computer vision, AI, machine learning, game development, or software engineering.

Skilled in some of the following tools/languages:

Java, C#, Python (preferred)

Graphics APIs: OpenGL, Direct3D, Vulkan.

Unity, Unreal Engine.

MatLab, LaTex.

Git, TensorFlow, SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry experience in a relevant field.

Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding.

Proficiency in Spanish (preferred but not required).
