General Automation Lead

Drive the global adoption of automation solutions within the S4G (Smart Factory for the Future) and AIP (AI Program) initiatives across multiple plants.

Define and promote global standards, best practices, and governance for automation, ensuring alignment on

how sites should work .

Lead and coordinate automation projects (PLC, SCADA, OT/IT integration) from concept to implementation, in collaboration with local site teams.

Act as the global point of contact for automation topics, supporting manufacturing sites in troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and internal quality standards in all automation-related activities.

Facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and change management to support digital transformation and smart factory deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, IT, production, quality)



to integrate automation into broader digital and AI initiatives.

Manage project timelines, risks, and resources, including worldwide travel to support implementation and standardization on site.

Degree in Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least

3 years of experience as Automation Lead

for global plants in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industrial sector.

Strong hands‑on experience with

PLC, SCADA

and

OT/IT integration , as well as project management in automation/digital transformation.

Knowledge of

English at C2 level ;

Spanish

is a plus.

Ability to work in a multicultural team, travel worldwide, and adapt to a dynamic, global environment.
