As a

Senior Tech Lead – RAG , you will lead one of our internal

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

squads within our

AI Factory

in Barcelona. You will be the

technical reference and hands‑on lead , coordinating a cross‑functional squad (AI Engineers, Full Stack Developers, DevOps) to design, build, and operate

Azure‑based RAG and AI solutions

that power internal products and services across the business.

What we’re looking for

Senior profile

– solid experience in software/AI engineering in complex environments (junior profiles will not be considered).

Proven experience as a

Technical Lead / Tech Lead

for

AI or software engineering squads , ideally up to 6 engineers.

Strong expertise in

Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)

and

LLM‑based solutions

(prompting,



orchestration, evaluation, optimization).

Ability to

define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines

for AI solutions.

Experience designing and building

scalable backend systems and APIs

in

cloud environments , preferably

Microsoft Azure .

Hands‑on experience integrating

advanced AI capabilities : RAG & LLMs (Azure OpenAI or similar)

Speech‑to‑text, computer vision, and/or

Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

is a strong plus

Solid knowledge of

Azure services

such as: Azure Functions, App Services

Cosmos DB or other cloud databases

Experience with

observability, reliability, and performance monitoring

of production systems (logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards).

Strong

collaboration and communication skills , acting as the

technical interface

between the squad and stakeholders (Product Owner, Data Scientists, frontend teams, business).
