Our client is a Spain-based manufacturer of high-technology printing and packaging machinery, serving customers internationally. The company designs and manufactures advanced printing equipment and provides installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support to its customers worldwide.

Printing Technician – Printing & Packaging Machinery

We are looking for an experienced Printing Technician to join the Engineering Department of an established industrial machinery company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of printing and packaging machinery, including technical interventions at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and start up new printing and packaging machinery.




- Perform internal machine adjustments and testing before shipment to customers.
- Carry out technical interventions at customer sites to identify and resolve printing-related problems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery.
- Identify root causes of breakdowns and implement effective long-term solutions.
- Work with offset printing machines, long-run and short-run web offset machines, and related equipment.
- Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports following technical interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Professional Training Grade I – Mechanics, or a relevant technical qualification.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in the Printing & Packaging Industry is essential.
- Hands-on experience with printing/packaging machinery and mechanical assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- English language skills will be valued.
- Hard-working, meticulous, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team.
