The role focuses on day‑to‑day administration of systems, virtualization, storage, backup, critical infrastructure services, and advanced technical support for production environments. The candidate will participate in infrastructure automation usingInfrastructure as Code(Terraform, Ansible) and Git. This role focuses on infrastructure deployment and operations;
application deployment falls under Dev Ops.Experience with on‑premise Kubernetes administration (nodes, cluster networking, persistent storage, certificates, etcd, upgrades) is valued. Practical knowledge of corporate networks,VLAN/VXLANsegmentation, routing and switching, DNS/DHCP, site‑to‑site VPNs, firewall policies and interconnection between on‑premise networks and cloud environments is required. Knowledge ofNAC ,BGP, and Extreme Networks Fabric is valued.The candidate will participate in advanced, code‑based management of infrastructure and networking in public cloud environments, mainlyAWS, including VPCs, peering, transit/VPN gateways, hybrid connectivity, and IAM.



Additional experience withGoogle CloudorAzureis valued. Knowledge of database administration (SQL/Postgre SQL, Mongo DB) at the infrastructure level is also valued, though not essential. The profile should contribute to maintaining a stable, documented, secure, and repeatable infrastructure, applying operational best practices and supporting continuous improvement.Qualifications2+ years of experience in system administration and operation of shared IT infrastructure in production environments.Experience working in high‑technology environments and/or systems analysis, with a strong operational focus.Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.Proactive, collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with infrastructure, security, Dev Ops, and application teams.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to identify root causes and propose sustainable solutions.Ability to respond effectively to critical incidents, system outages, and high‑pressure operational situations.Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to document technical work clearly.Familiarity with structured IT processes and Agile ways of working will be valued.Additional InformationApplus+ IDIADA is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
