Experteer Overview
In this role you will design secure, scalable cloud and AI data platforms across multi-cloud environments to support Vodafone’s strategic AI and data initiatives. You will translate business requirements into production-ready architectures, lead data mesh and AI solution design, and ensure governance, security, and cost discipline. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a bridge between business, engineering, and platform owners to deliver value. This position offers impact at scale, shaping data platforms and GenAI applications in a dynamic telecom environment.

• Design and implement AI architectures aligned with Vodafone’s goals
• Design and implement decentralized data mesh architectures with robust data contracts
• Ensure scalability, efficiency, and security of cloud and AI solutions
• Provide high-level effort estimations for local market cloud migrations
• Establish data interaction patterns for multi-cloud environments to optimize latency and cost
• Embed FinOps principles in the technical design phase
• Define scalable CI/CD patterns and deployment strategies for AI/GenAI initiatives




• Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions while ensuring governance and compliance
• Lead pre-sales and solutioning to map requirements to cloud architecture and ROI
• Collaborate with business users to anticipate data needs

Responsabilidades
• End-to-end design and architecture of scalable data platforms in hybrid/multi-cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience in BI pipeline design projects
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT orchestration
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud security best practices (least privilege, encryption)
• FinOps expertise: cloud cost forecasting, rightsizing, capacity optimization
• Leading complex cloud migrations from on-premises (Teradata, Oracle) to cloud hubs
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or STEM
• Cloud certifications
• Fluent English; Spanish optional
• Experience in roles similar to this one
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Architecture for Data Warehousing (preferred)
