We are looking for a Product Owner – Sales Compensation & Entitlement Management!
The position is responsible for shaping the vision, roadmap, and execution of key business processes within a complex enterprise ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences, enhance platform capabilities, and drive value across sales, operations, and IT.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product roadmap, backlog, and feature prioritization for Sales Compensation and Entitlement Management.
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans using Agile methodologies.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, sales operations, IT teams, and platform owners to align product objectives and deliver business value.
- Define, optimize, and enhance sales compensation processes, including quota management, crediting, new business, and renewals.
- Manage the end-to-end entitlement lifecycle, covering License issuance, Order processing, Provisioning, and Renewal activities.
- Ensure accurate entitlement and revenue recognition across integrated systems and platforms.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives for sales operations and channel teams.
- Manage requirements across the HP CRM++ ecosystem, including SFDC, Wolf, WXP, Neuron, and Amplify.
- Drive Customer 360 initiatives and master data governance efforts to improve data quality and consistency.
- Partner with integration and platform teams to ensure seamless execution of business processes and system interoperability.
- Support master data governance initiatives, collaborating with MDM/MADO teams and overseeing integration with platforms such as BRIM, Apollo, Tera, and SFDC.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, prioritizing initiatives using frameworks such as RICE, MoSCoW, and WSJF.
- Track dependencies, risks, and cross-functional deliverables, coordinating with multiple vendors and internal teams for successful releases.
Skill Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in a technology-driven environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Sales Compensation processes, including quota management, crediting, renewals, and commissions.
- Proven experience in Entitlement Lifecycle Management (License, Order, Provisioning, Renewal).
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and HP CRM++ ecosystem tools (SFDC, Wolf, WXP, Neuron, Amplify).
- Strong background in Customer 360 initiatives, Master Data Management (MDM/MADO), and data governance.
- Advanced Agile product ownership skills, including user story development using INVEST and Gherkin.
- Expertise in prioritization and delivery frameworks such as RICE, MoSCoW, and WSJF.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification.
- Experience with enterprise billing and integration platforms (BRIM, Tera, Apollo).
- Familiarity with subscription, licensing, entitlement, and partner management processes.
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Strong analytical, process optimization, and automation skills.
