For more detailed information about Volpak and its comprehensive business landscape, please visit About the Role The resource will lead projects within Engineering Function and will deal with R&D and Engineering team for technical design, ensuring project consistency to design standards and business guidelines. Main responsibilities are: Leading the project within the Engineering function, ensuring that the product meets agreed technical requirements and coordinating the design team; Overseeing Mechanical, Hardware,



and Software development according to project specifications; Defining and managing the design plan, system architecture, and module breakdown; Releasing existing modules into production and verifying them through simulation and virtual commissioning; Managing system integration, verification, and final design validation; Supporting manufacturing and assembly processes, implementing design adjustments and updating the bill of materials as needed; Reviewing and approvingfinal engineering documentation; Driving "Design to Cost" initiatives and promoting technical knowledge sharing within and beyond the engineering team; Ensuring a smooth handover from R&D to the rest of the organization; Leading and supporting the team by setting clear objectives and development plans. What you need to be successful Mechanical, Automation or Mechatronic Engineering Degree; Master’s in Engineeringor Management; At least 7 years of experience in mechanical design; Knowledge of modern 3 DCAD system, integrated with PLM; Good knowledge of pneumatics; Familiar with basic functions of ERP; Electrical and SoftwareEngineering knowledge; Background in packagingmachine sector would be highly valuable.
