Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together general automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.

Strategically located next to Stellantis´ plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer (Matching Engineer), who will manage the complete machining process lifecycle, from reviewing complex part drawings and defining CNC process routes to programming, tooling design, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring continuous optimization of manufacturing procedures.

Your main responsibilities will be:





- Review non-standard parts drawings and outputting process cards
- Process analysis of abnormal parts during the processing process, and quickly resolve abnormalities
- Prepare the CNC plus engineering formula.
- Design and develop tooling fixtures
- Optimize process procedures

Your profile and qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Welding certificate is desirable, although not compulsory.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Around 5 years of experience in manufacturing companies focusing on machinery.
- Required on-site working availability at our offices based in Zaragoza.
