As part ofMars Science & Diagnostics, we support veterinary professionals worldwide with innovative laboratory services, advanced diagnostic technologies, and expert clinical support.We're looking for aLaboratory Veterinarianto join our team inMadridand play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic results that make a real difference for pets and the people who care for them.What you'll doAs a Laboratory Veterinarian, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing while maintaining efficiency and excellent turnaround times.Your responsibilities will include:Performing, validating and releasing diagnostic test results across a range of disciplines (Haematology, Biochemistry, Endocrinology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, Protein Electrophoresis, etc.)Performing quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with laboratory quality standardsOperating,
maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipmentPrioritising daily workload to meet turnaround time expectationsSupporting Customer Service with technical queries from veterinary practicesTraining and mentoring junior laboratory staff according to SOPsContributing to SOP reviews, inventory management and continuous process improvementMaintaining the highest standards of laboratory safety, quality and organisationWhat we're looking forVeterinary Degree (DVM or equivalent)Minimum3 years' experiencein a high-throughput clinical laboratoryStrong experience in laboratory diagnostics, including analyser operation, quality control, result validation and troubleshootingExperience in one or more of the following areas: haematology (including blood film review), biochemistry, endocrinology, urinalysis & microscopy, veterinary sample processingExperience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) and Laboratory Information System (LIS)Previous experience training or mentoring colleagues is a plusAs part of an international organisation,written and verbal English communication skills are requiredfor this position.Why join Antech?Be part of a general leader in veterinary diagnosticsHelp improve animal health every dayJoin an international and collaborative environmentGrow your career within Mars Science & DiagnosticsWork with innovative technologies and passionate expertsIf you're passionate about veterinary diagnostics and want to make a meaningful impact on animal health, we'd love to hear from you!
