Our client is looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure) to join a technology team supporting enterprise cloud platforms within the digital banking sector. The role focuses on designing, automating, and maintaining secure, scalable Microsoft Azure environments while driving Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and cloud platform operations.

You will work closely with architects, software developers, and infrastructure teams in an agile environment, contributing to the modernization of cloud platforms and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient application delivery across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and application hosting environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including identity management, access controls, and secrets management.
- Support containerized application deployments and cloud platform operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, reliability, and availability.
- Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to support cloud adoption and deployment automation.




- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and administering Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar technologies.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with Docker and container platforms such as Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, RBAC, Managed Identities, Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth/OIDC, and secrets management.
- Knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture and operational best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
