? About the Role

At SOTEC Consulting – Astek Group, we are looking for a Space Systems Engineer to join a strategic project within the space sector.

We are seeking a professional with solid experience in Systems Engineering, who will participate in the definition, design, and validation of complex systems throughout the entire project lifecycle.

?️High level of English required (international project)

? Responsibilities:

- Define, analyze, and manage system requirements.
- Prepare technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Develop and maintain system architectures using MBSE tools.
- Participate in Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities.
- Perform functional analysis of navigation and communication systems.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including: Software Engineering, Hardware, Integration, Validation, Operations
- Participate in technical reviews and project milestones.

?️ Mandatory Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- Citizenship of a European Union member state.
- Holding, or having previously held, a Personal Security Clearance (HPS).

Experience with:

- Requirements definition and management.
- Complex systems engineering.
- Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities.
- Hands-on experience with:
- IBM DOORS (highly important).




- Enterprise Architect.
- Cameo Systems Modeler.

Experience in one or more of the following industries:

- Space.
- Defence.
- Automotive.
- Transportation.

? Nice to Have:

- Experience in satellite navigation-related programmes.
- Experience with GNSS systems.
- Knowledge of satellite navigation.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Knowledge of ECSS space standards.
