A leading international company with a strong global presence and headquarters in the Valencia region aims to strengthen its Corporate Finance team. The company is seeking an experienced Treasury Leader who will play a key role in shaping financing strategies, ensuring financial stability, and supporting continued international growth of the company.

- Define and execute the company's financing strategy in line with business objectives.
- Lead negotiations with financial institutions regarding financing instruments for short-mid-long term level.
- Structure financing solutions to support working capital and investment requirements.
- Manage and optimize the company's debt portfolio, including refinancing projects when appropriate.
- Monitor financing costs and ensure compliance with debt covenants and contractual obligations.
- Identify and manage financial risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, liquidity, and counterparties.

Treasury & Cash Management
- Lead integral cash management activities and ensure adequate liquidity across the group's international operations.
- Prepare, monitor, and continuously improve short and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
- Optimize cash positions through cash pooling, intercompany funding structures, and liquidity management initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support funding and investment decisions.

Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead, guide and manage team resources, workloads, and workforce planning activities.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
- Drive talent development through objective setting, performance reviews, coaching, and regular feedback.




- Support succession planning and capability development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and learning.

What the perfect candidate looks like

- Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury Management, or a similar field is considered an advantage.
- Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial management within an international environment.
- Solid experience managing banking relationships and negotiating financing arrangements.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, debt management, and financial risk mitigation.
- Experience working with ERP systems, treasury management tools, and financial reporting platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across international teams.
- Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and driving change.
