C.H. Robinson is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our ocean freight procurement and pricing strategy across a defined region. You will collaborate with carriers, vendors, product management, sales teams, and branch offices to negotiate competitive rates, manage contracts, provide market insights, and support commercial growth. As an Ocean Procurement Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to build strong industry relationships, influence business decisions, and contribute directly to the success of our global ocean product. We're looking for someone with strong commercial awareness, excellent relationship-building skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across a dynamic, international organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and manage core carrier relationships aligned with the global carrier strategy.
- Negotiate freight rates, terms, and conditions with ocean carriers for both strategic and regular business activities.
- Maintain and update carrier contracts, including FAK and NAC agreements.
- Ensure timely and accurate rate updates within internal systems.
- Coordinate with regional and general pricing teams to support pricing initiatives and customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with established engagement guidelines.
- Process FCL rate requests accurately and within established service level expectations.
- Support product managers by identifying market trends, opportunities, and expansion strategies.
- Prepare reports on quotations, volumes, key trade lanes, and pricing performance.
- Support sales teams, global accounts,



and branch offices with pricing guidance and tender responses.
- Deliver sales training related to ocean products and share market intelligence with the wider network.
- Contribute to the expansion of ocean product offerings and development of new key trade lanes.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Required 3+ years of experience in the shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or ocean transportation industry.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable making decisions involving business risk.
- Preferred Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Commercial sales experience.
- Strong presentation and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel as required.

Compensation Range €33,000.00 - €55,900.00
