Quality Manager – Manufacturing Environment (Automotive Sector)Position SummaryA leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic Quality Manager to join its management team at its production facility in the Barcelona area.Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Quality Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving quality standards and policies. The role ensures high levels of customer satisfaction, alignment of Cost of Quality targets, and full compliance with applicable international and customer-specific standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and take full responsibility for the Quality Department.Develop and execute the annual departmental plan aligned with overall business strategy and objectives.Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to plant leadership.Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with other departments.Manage customer relationships regarding quality, including complaints, claims, and escalations.Oversee all quality assurance processes and activities.Define and maintain procedures and work instructions;
provide training to operations teams.Promote and lead a safety-first culture within the team.Attract, develop, and retain high-potential talent;
manage performance and career development.Assess and plan both short- and long-term training needs.Manage the department budget and ensure cost efficiency.Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits (internal, external, and customer).Supervise laboratory activities,
