Experteer Overview
As a Software Engineer on Seqera's Platform Infrastructure team, you will shape the internal cloud and CI/CD foundations that power engineering, services, and customers. You will design secure, reliable, and cost-conscious infrastructure and own automation tooling to accelerate delivery. You’ll implement observability, deployment standards, and incident response practices to uphold high reliability. This role offers the chance to influence engineering culture and practices while scaling software used by researchers worldwide. You will work across disciplines to deliver high-impact infrastructure improvements that enable faster, safer science.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Build and operate internal infrastructure supporting engineers, services, and customers
• Design and evolve cloud infrastructure with focus on security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Own CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tooling to automate deployment, testing, and release processes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and related tools
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and internal teams to ship high-impact projects
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for reliability and performance




• Design and implement new tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and security
• Write internal tools to automate manual workflows and surface operational insights
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to blameless postmortems

Responsabilidades
• Infrastructure engineer with experience building robust, scalable solutions
• Expertise in Infrastructure As Code, CI/CD, and modern tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience with enterprise cloud environments and security best practices
• Ability to operate with ambiguity, quickly form hypotheses, and learn complex concepts
• Independently drive tasks while proactively seeking help to unblock
• Strong foundation in cloud infrastructure engineering and security measures
• Experience identifying and responding to complex incidents, including customer-infrastructure issues
• Comfortable communicating with technical teams and leadership to gather requirements and describe designs
